Then how do I get the app on my desktop so I can call using it I seem to not be a able to find that answer or how to get the app to move onto my desktop to use it

I installed the Desktop App and I can not figure out how to get the app on my Desktop I gather this digital phone is for a laptop or desktop not for a mobile unit or am I wrong.
