Re: Voicemail access is down after scheduled maintenance

Yeah, when you change servers, the settings are saved. Also, the ATA registered fine.

The only thing that's changed is the scheduled maintenance.

No, it doesn't matter if I'm using voip or voip2.

Registration state of the ATA fails as soon as I dial *98 or my phone number.

Re: Voicemail is down

If you have any problems with Voice-mail by dialing *98, I suggest now is the time to look around in the house/apartment for an answering machine and this can be used as an alternative as Fongo are scheduling updates & maintenance (as they previously announced on the forum) over the next few da...

Voicemail access is down after scheduled maintenance

*98 doesn't working. Calling my phone number directly doesn't work either.

Calling out and incoming calls work fine.

VMI isn't clearing properly after scheduled maintenance

After scheduled maintenance, outgoing and incoming calls work.

Checking voicemail gets a busy signal.

Re: Anyone Getting " Stutter Dial Tone Voicemail Notificatio

There is no fix. Voice Mail notification is broken for freephoneline home phone users.

All hanke did was just force the stutter tone on.

Need to wait for a fix.

Re: faxing with SPA3102

Some research into the SPA3102 shows that it support T.38 (Fax over IP). Have you tried enabling thing feature? I think "FAX Enable T38" is enabled by default. At least, it is for me. In fact, the user manual (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_i ... NC-WEB.pdf) has a section on using ...

Re: Problem in evening with calls happening to often

dibsmft, My ATA uses port 5060 for line one and 5061 for line 2 (line 2 is not being used) according to the configuration page when i log into the ATA. Then you should only need to port forward 5060 and your RTP range (16384 - 16482) on your ATA's SIP tab. 10000-20000 seems redundant to me. If you ...

Stun or Port Forwarding

With respect to security and proper networking, is it considered best to use a stun server or is it best to port forward? My understanding is that if you port forward, you're potentially opening up risks for the device you're port forwarding to. If you're using a stun server on your ata device, isn'...

Re: faxing with SPA3102

Hmm, I'm not sure why FPL told me to forward all these ports. I should only need to forward one SIP port (the one on my Line 1 tab) and the RTP port range (on my SIP tab), right? Well, to answer my own question, the answer appears to be yes. I am no longer port forwarding over 10,000 UDP ports, and...

Re: Problem in evening with calls happening to often

I run the softphone, and almost always when I place calls, I minimize or close background apps, as I do have severe issues with the softphone on my machine. I can verify that around 5:30pm (PDT), I have a LOT of call failures on outbound calls ... this persists until around 7:30 (PDT) and after tha...

faxing with SPA3102

I am able to fax perfectly fine using voip.ms, and about a year ago, I used to be able to send the occasional fax using freephoneline. I find I can't anymore. I am port forwarding UDP ports 5060-6061and 10,000-20,0000 from my Asus RT-N66U (Dark Knight) router to the SPA3102 ata device. STUN is not e...

Re: Problem in evening with calls happening to often

the rest of the night no phone, in the morning everything was fine. Although FPL's service might be having load issues, I would suspect congestion from your ISP, Acanac, during prime time more than anything else. Run a few packet loss and jitter tests at night when you're experiencing issues: http:...

Kris mentioned here > http://forum.fongo.com/viewtopic.php?p=21086#p21086 that you can do this by just calling into them and requesting it. Should be easy enough I guess. Thanks. Kris' answer mentions "transferring". I don't want to kill my freephoneline service or account, so much as sim...

Use existing Freephonline number with Dell Voice?

Why can't I just log into Dell Voice with my freephonline account information? Dell Voice is basically the same service, right (just sip settings over a mobile app)? And besides, I've already paid $50 for my freephoneline sip settings. It seems to me that it would be a waste of Fongo's resources to ...
