Re: Linksys WRT350N w/ DD-WRT & Unknown NAT
Since support told me they re-registered my account, and switching back to Keep-Alive, it seems to be holding up just fine. Odd. Not sure what re-registering my account really means.

Re: Linksys WRT350N w/ DD-WRT & Unknown NAT
Well, the STUN server seemed to work, but then after an hour it would act up and not work properly. It seemed to me if you picked up the phone and called out, then it would work again for a bit. I opened a ticket, and I got a message back that they forced registration again, and to turn off the ATA ...

Ok, this is for my Mom which is on FreePhoneLine. I don't see how to open a ticket there yet, but I will keep looking.
Thank you.

I added the STUN server and rebooted and now it works fine.
Should I leave it?

Re: Linksys WRT350N w/ DD-WRT & Unknown NAT
Same problem here: Having a problem where I can hear the caller, but they cannot hear me. Also, when calling out I don't hear ringing, but the other side can pickup. Odd. I am running dd-wrt on my router, and I have tried both UPNP and Keep Alive for NAT Traversal. Ideas? Port forwarding and fixed R...

Re: Switching from Fongo Home Phone to FreePhoneLine
Yes I do understand Interesting that they do not allow me to select a Fongo number in the port settings.
For some reason I was under the impression that I couldn't still get a phone adapter setup for FPL, that is my mistake.
Supporting a local company is fine with me

Re: Switching from Fongo Home Phone to FreePhoneLine
Is there any advantage to using Fongo Home Phone over freephoneline? I am good with technical setup details.

Switching from Fongo Home Phone to FreePhoneLine
Hello, I have purchased the ATA and moved my home line to Fongo Home Phone for 4.95$ per month. Can I now port my number to FreePhoneLine and use the ATA to save myself the $4.95 per month? What will this cost me? $25 to port again? Do I need to pay the $50 for the SIP configuration file if mine is ...
