Re: E911 - Information is not available to emergency centre
I did not call 911, rather i called the non-emergency call center to verify my information with them. That would be the reason. The non-emergency call centre would normally not have information for VoIP customers, because there is a special call centre specifically used for VoIP. yes, that is what ...

Re: E911 - Information is not available to emergency centre
I called 911 twice last July from my Chatr activated cell and my personal info was not available. I have been asked for the phone number I was calling from, my street address and the nearest intersection. I was surprised that an ambulance does not have a GPS! I was told by the 91 operator that if y...

Re: E911 - Information is not available to emergency centre
Hi, The information is indeed updated as long as you agreed to the terms after you updated the name and address for 911. I believe you cannot call 911 for "testing" you might be charged now. http://support.freephoneline.ca/entries/22891521-Emergency-services-911-Police-Fire- You should pr...

E911 - Information is not available to emergency centre
It is stated on FPL website that your call back number and address are visible to the emergency response center call-taker when you use 9-1-1 (E911) with FPL number. In order to make sure all is good, i called 911 call center and the person told me that he is not getting any information - neither ad...

Re: Follow-Me, HEY Stop Following me!
I recently received a new phone number to go with my new work location. Normally I would log in to my console and add this to my follow-me settings. Today however, it seems someone has this set-up on their account already. As it gives me no indicator of who owns this account, and to my knowledge do...

Re: Password Protected calls to "out of free" area
What part of that linked thread did you not understand? I copied the dial plan (reproduced below, then changed the 5683 and 3683 to my chosen passwords) and had been using it for a few months now with success on my PAP2T. Nobody can place a Canadian or long distance call without knowing the passwor...

Re: Password Protected calls to "out of free" area
hi, is there a way to protect charged calls with some kind of pin/password? For example, I'm using "World Credits" to make long distance calls. but I dont want anyone to just pick up the call and make long distance. Rather, I want some control like if someone dials a number that is out of...

Re: Dialpad not working when dialing extensions
Hi, When using Groundwire by Acrobits (a softphone for the iPhone), the dialpad doesn't work after the call is connected and an automated system asks me to push keys. Below is the response that I got from Acrobits: We noticed a couple of things in the log. First, it looks like your provider does no...

Re: Incoming / Outgoing both are not working
What about your config - post your config of the pap2t hello since it is working fine in Montreal, i think the configuration is not issue. (as we don't have region specific config ... only the time config is region specific). what i suspect is the portforwarding issue....but i'm not 100% sure about...
