Hi just wondering if any of you might know what is causing this. As soon as I inter the power cord in the phone adapter is starts screaming (long continus beep). It doesn't change if I remove the phone cord or the ethernet cable. No red light.

Hi, If I setup and manage an encryption system with my ATA, would it cause any problem with my freephoneline number?

Hi, I want to make sure ports are not blocked where I am going to install the phone line.
If I can use the Free Phone Line softphone on a computer up there, would it be a good test?
If the ports are blocked, will it be blocked on the softphone as well?

Ok thanks for the information. For the ports, I read an article about some people complaining about blocked ports for VoIP. Do you know if there is a way to get over it if that happens? I have a separate routeur from the modem.
