Re: Switched ISP and account now blocked

Thanks Liptonbrisk. It's working now.

Looks like the account number was spoofed. I'm looking at the call logs and they're to Oregon, Kentucky, Serbia and Spain right after she switched to oxio and nothing was done to change it over, about $23 were wasted on those spoofs. Grr.

[Resolved] Switched ISP and account now blocked

I had recently switched my mother's ISP from Fido to Oxio (similar to Teksavvy). Her phone didn't connect and I just got around to playing around with the settings. Oxio provided her with a modem/router bundle. The modem is Hintron CODA-45 The router is an eero 6. Software OS 6.5.1. I've reached out...

Re: FPL with HT-701 (Firmware 1.0.8.2)

I recently updated my firmware from 1.0.7 to 1.0.8.2; the only difference I noticed between my past settings to the ones listed in this guide are the change in SIP Registration Failure Retry Wait Time from 20 to 120. My form has 20 listed as a default. Just noticed today that when I tried to call o...

Android Fongo notification bar

Just a silly small suggestion, remove the ellipsis (triple dots) in "Connected to Fongo…". Usually an ellipsis would be associated with something that is incomplete or in the case of an application try to connect or a phone searching for a network. But in the case of being connected, it wo...

Re: can't hear other side voice when make call or receive ca

I tried doing some research on here but can't get a definitive answer. Are we not recommended to use voip3 for long; is it a temporary SIP server? I have just tried voip and the audio works but it's not as clear (it cuts out when the person on the voip line is talking) in comparison to when it was ...

Re: can't hear other side voice when make call or receive ca

I just signed up for this FPL account/unlock key yesterday. I've had an FPL account before but never really took the plunge and set up an ATA.

Re: HT701 firmware 1.0.6.1

Okay, so I updated to firmware 1.0.7.3 and changed the SIP Register to WAN address; however, I still had no audio. I played around with the Primary SIP Server (switched it to all three provided, i.e., voip.freephoneline.ca, voip2.freephoneline.ca and voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060) but neither worked. ...
