Re: Rogers blocking Fongo mobile app
Unfortunately I have not heard back from Coextro or Rogers as of yet. And, as expected, I have not received any response from Fongo Support regarding my request to see if my IP has been blocked. I will have to wait until my modem gets a new IP address to see if that resolves the issue. I'll come bac...

Re: Rogers blocking Fongo mobile app
The MTR utility in Linux runs continuously until you either tell it to quit or pause it. I had to pause it in order to copy the results to a clipboard. It was in the middle of pinging 149.248.92.74 when I paused it, so the results of that ping were greatly exaggerated, sorry. It generally averaged a...

Re: Rogers blocking Fongo mobile app
Sorry I haven't responded in the last little bit. The issue is certainly not resolved as of yet. Coextro still has not heard a response from Rogers and they cannot change my IP address unless I disconnect my modem for at least 24 hrs, which is not an option at the moment. I've contacted Fongo suppor...

Re: Rogers blocking Fongo mobile app
I am unable to ping 208.85.216.36 using my laptop when connected through my router. I disconnected the router and connected directly to the modem, and I still can't ping 208.85.216.36. I set up a hotspot from my phone's data plan and I AM able to ping 208.85.216.36 through it. I'll keep you posted o...

Re: Rogers blocking Fongo mobile app
I am running Fongo version 3.10.15.60 on Android 9, Android 7 and Android 8. Unfortunately the "Allow IPv6 Connection" option does not exist. I don't have an iOS device to test with. My router is a D-Link DIR-868L. The modem provided by my ISP is a Hitron CDA3-20 and has no router capabili...

Re: Rogers blocking Fongo mobile app
Thank you for this awesome, detailed response! If only Fongo's support team could have responded in this way. And thanks for confirming that the app is working on Rogers for you. I too found it hard to believe that Rogers would be deliberately blocking a simple VoIP app until it was confirmed by my ...

Rogers blocking Fongo mobile app
On July 19th my Fongo app stopped functioning when connected to my home WiFi (Coextro/Rogers). It works perfectly when I use my data plan (Bell) or if I connect to a neighbour's WiFi (also rBell). It also works when I use a VPN app. I contacted my ISP (Coextro) who, in turn, contacted Rogers. Rogers...

Re: Both My FPL Lines are Down
I agree. They should both work. Tried both servers. voip2.freephoneline.ca; tested - works. voip.freephoneline.ca; tested - no outgoing calls.
Thanks for the suggestion though.

Re: Both My FPL Lines are Down
I've found that my ingoing and outgoing calls both function properly when I change my Proxy and Outbound Proxy settings (on Linksys PAP2) to voip2.freephoneline.ca (rather than voip.freephoneline.ca).

I'm down as well. When I dial out I get an immediate busy signal. When I check voicemail it tells me "That account number does not exist".

Re: Can't connect to login server
This thread is turning into a few different issues now. Last night between 02:00 and 05:00 AM EST there was some maintenance to perform some extensive core network upgrades - unfortunately teams ran into a couple snags which did result in the SIP authentications bouncing online and offline a bit du...

Re: No incoming audio May 24, 2012
Thanks for the input. PAP2T is set to static IP. All ports have been forwarded as per previous discussions in this forum. I have reset both the PAP2T and my router to no avail. Have had current settings for over two years and, as stated, the problem does not occur on calls to other Freephoneline num...

No incoming audio May 24, 2012
As of 3 pm, May 24th, I cannot hear any sound on calls outside of the Freephoneline/Fongo network. i hear dial-tone, but no ringing and no sound after that. However, when calling another Freephoneline number, all works well. I have not made any changes to my network or my ATA device. I'm in the Lond...

Re: Is there a problem with service today?
Still having a problem here. Glad to hear yours is working though. As mentioned earlier, voice mail works perfectly. Outgoing calls to non FPL numbers will either go straight to a busy signal or a recorded message "The number you have dialed is incorrect..."
Worked perfectly last night.

I second that. Is there a setting in the PAP2 to adjust the number of rings before a call is forwarded to voicemail?

Re: No Incoming or outgoing calls
Same problem here. Except I have no status lights on the PAP2T and correspondingly no dial tone.
I'm in the London area.
Hopefully clears up soon.
Thanks!
