Hi folks,
the Problem is fixed by moving Telecom vendors.
See above for details.
I can replicate the fix by moving the SPA3102 from Bell Internet HUB to the Rogers Internet HUB.
Finally have a working Home Phone again.

Re: SPA3102 through a Bell ZTE MF275R No Inbound Caller Audi
** Please Note +++ The Bell Router cannot be put into Bridging Mode +++ ** This seriously limits our approach. I am not familiar with the Bell router you're using.Typically it's best to stick whatever junk your ISP gives you in bridge mode if you are using your own router. Call/contact your ISP if n...

Re: SPA3102 through a Bell ZTE MF275R No Inbound Caller Audi
Hi folks, *** Problem Fixed *** Very interesting final test. I had to order a second Internet Access Service, so now I have two Mobility Data Services. One from Bell Canada and the other from Rogers. I simply plugged the SPA3102 into the Rogers HUB and the problem went away. Moreover I did not need ...

Re: SPA3102 through a Bell ZTE MF275R No Inbound Caller Audi
Hi there Bridonca, Yeah I hear you. However I am going to give it a little longer. You're quite right, the 3102 is a bear to get working, but once it works, it's rock solid. I have my router & MTA protected by UPS and in the past, it was up 100 % for over two years, no reboots at all. There is a...

Re: SPA3102 through a Bell ZTE MF275R No Inbound Caller Audi
Posting Update
More testing.
I also changed the SIP Proxy from voip.freephoneline.ca to voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060
I also opened up my Router Ports from 10,000 to 64,000 and same behavior.
No RTP packets received on inbound calls.
I've getting the feeling this is not a Bell Router issue ??.

SPA3102 through a Bell ZTE MF275R No Inbound Caller Audio
Hi folks, I have an existing, previously working SPA3102 that functioned well on the Rogers HSI network. The Rogers Internet Model was set to act as a Hub and passed all traffic through to my Router, which is where I managed my own firewall rules. Now I have moved to a location where I can only obta...

Re: service down or just me :)?
Quick Update !
The Bell ZTE MF275R has Firewall enabled as default and cannot be turned off.
I changed my config back and submitted Port Forwarding for SIP and RTP.
SIP still functions.
RTP does not, not packets sent or received.
I've even tried putting the ATA in the DMZ, no change at all.

Hi there folks,\ I flipped the MTA over to Voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060 and changed SIP ports to 6060 No Change in behavior at all. However, I did notice that my SIP packets sent and received are incrementing, which is good. My RTP packets sent and received are 0, which is bad given this used to incr...

No Inbound Audio During Inbound Calls / Outbound calls OK
Hi Folks, I have a Linksys SPA-3102 ( SPA3102 ) I have a known working config when I was in Whitby ON on the Rogers Network. During that time I had resolved all Firewall Config issues . I've since moved to Lindsay and I am now in the Bell Mobility Network. The Device that they offer is the ZTE MF275...

Re: Dial-In = Perfect <> Dial-Out = Half Duplex
Gotcha !
Perhaps I'll port mirror and run Ethereal against it.
That would tell me for sure.
I'd like to reduce the window and see what the least amount of ports will still work.
Thanks mister.
Derek
ps. the wierd thing I haven't figured out yet is why it still worked when someone dialed me ?

Re: Dial-In = Perfect <> Dial-Out = Half Duplex
Hi Jake, right you are sir ! I just read your reply to that thread. That`s not a bad idea, do you know how many RTP ports are opened during the call sequence ? Where does the port negotiation take place ? I ask because I am opening my fw to these inbound ports, therefore the server must be having a ...

Re: Dial-In = Perfect <> Dial-Out = Half Duplex
*** Update *** I tested long distance numbers and they still did not work. I could reach local numbers with success, but Long Distance calls still remained with the called party could hear us but we could not hear them. I ended up opening all UDP RTP ports on my Router ( from 16384 to 16482, which w...

Re: Dial-In = Perfect <> Dial-Out = Half Duplex
Hey Thanks Jake ! I happend to find a similar thread in the FreePhoneLine Forum on this site. That thread suggested that server side changes necessitated us to open RTP ports on our Firewalls. I tried the suggestion and it indeed worked. I opened a live calle and started opening the RTP port range s...

Re: No incomming audio on outbound call
Hi Folks, Yes, RTP port forwarding led me to a solution. I have a SPA3102 and it stopped working in the same way around the 12th as well. I opened the port range from 16385 to 16440. ( Note that the maz range on the 3102 is 16385 to 16482 ) So I added more and more ports to the range until it starte...

Dial-In = Perfect <> Dial-Out = Half Duplex
Hi there, When calls come in, the calling party can here us and we can hear them. When we place calls, the called party can hear us, but we cannot hear them. We can hear dial tone when picking up the phone. We cannot hear the calling sequence / tones either. This started last week, prior to this the...

** Update **
Inbound calls did not work immediately, the ATA needed a hard reboot in order to get that going.

Re: Dell Voice just stopped working two days ago
So I just figured out what my problem was. Interesting. There were some threads that talked about Caller ID having an illegal character in the field. I had recently put in the "&" between our initials in the Display Name field. I changed the "&" to a "+" and out...

Hi folks, I have a Linksys SPA3102 SW 5.2.13(GW002) It shows registered and everything looks good on the interface. I get dial tone, but when I dial out, I get FAST BUSY. All calls dailing in are eventually routed to network VM and my local line never shows incoming calls. I've cold booted the devic...

Say,
Has anyone looked into the Voice Mail Server Parameter and Mailbox Subscribe Expires Parameter ?
What do these have to do with the system ?
Thanks

Re: Linksys SPA3102 is registered but cannot dial out
Good question. I did not. What are the standard ports that should be opened ? ( I'll google that to see if there are recommendations ) Odd, the ATA is working intermittantly now. We can dial out consistently. People cannot ring us all the time, sometimes we receive calls, sometimes we don't. ( from ...

Re: VoiceMail Acting Very Weird
Hi Folks, We are experiencing the same odd behavior. Our symptoms are not related to email purely because we are not using that function. As far as the Voice Message System, here are our symptoms: 1) Voice messages can always be left without any issues. 2) The message indicator works the first time,...

Linksys SPA3102 is registered but cannot dial out
Hi folks, I have a brand new Linksys SPA 3102. I've entered the SIP info from the Dell Voice Website. The Status page states it is registered. The ATA registers the phone on hook and off hook fine. The phone does not ring when dialing in. I get fast busy when trying to dial out. What should I be loo...
