Been over 16 hours and service still down. Is there anyone at Fongo who is working on fixing this? Thanks

oh I spoke too soon. So I have a dialtone now, but incoming and outgoing calls do not work. So service still down on a Burlington based home phone number with Fongo Home Phone

ok folks. Im back online. I didn't do anything, it fixed itself.

I pickup phone and it says devise not registered. No incoming or outgoing calls. Has worked perfectly for 9 months until now. Burlington Ontario. HT701. Phone light on ata box not lit

So the good news is I got bell fibe internet 15 mgps download 10 mbps upload today. Internet service is great, as is the TV, i might add. Plugged ata into back of new Fibe wireless modem. Works like a charm. Sound quality on phone is slightly better than with cogeco internet 14/1. Very happy overall...

Thanks lustucru. Good to know to do *72 before unplugging. However the servers should register the ata is unplugged quickly in the event of a power failure. But they dont seem to do so. Too bad

When i took my ata on a one day trip so i could use my homephone from another location, i called my home number while ata was unplugged. It would ring once and then i would get a busy signal. I tried my Fongo home phone ATA at my brothers who has bell fibe 25/10 and it worked perfectly. Plugged it right into back of bell wirelrss router modem

There seems to be about a current 8 hour delay with my observations now vs previous 3-5 minutes.

Voicemail prompt now works. Problem fixed itself

Voicemail alert stopped working for me today too and I have a Fongo purchased ATA and subscribe to the monthly home phone service. Must be a network issue. I never had this problem before. Just started today on its own

*98 not working again as of 1:15pm EST for Fongo home phone service. When I press it just hear silence. Then after 25 seconds, a busy sound.

Did several tests in a row.

Will do more tests in an hour.

Its been a frustrating 2 weeks of very unstable fongo home phone service. Hoping 2013 will bring better quality, i want to stay with fongo. They are Canadian and a good price. Just hope they can fix their stability issues
