I meet the same problem today. Looks like I need to go through the same procedure.

Fortunately there is a backup server voip2.freephoneline.ca. I wish they get voip.freephoneline.ca fixed before voip2.freephoneline.ca goes down.

try changing the sip server to voip2.freephoneline.ca. There seemed to be to much problem with voip.freephoneline.ca in the past month

right. Changing the sip server to voip2.freephoneline.ca may solve your problem.

However, the freephoneline softphone v3.2.6 still does not work on my windows7 laptop. hoho
