Re: Link sys PAP2 dropping outgoing calls after 33 secs of

The mystery has been solved! Thanks for your advice. I ended up changing Proxy Server to voip.freephoneline.ca, but in IP form. Don't know what changed with the previous server.

Re: Link sys PAP2 dropping outgoing calls after 33 secs of

Well, tried the above instructions, followed the guide and made the SIP port and Handle changes, reset Bell HUB 2000 and ATA in that order, but to no avail.
As for the voip.freephoneline.ca and voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060 , I just loose the dial tone.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Digitalized Voice

When speaking to someone the voices sometimes become digitalized. It's like I'm speaking to some in the Matrix movie! Anyone know why this happens and is there a fix? Details: I'm using 4 basic analog phones throughout my house, connecting through a Linksys PAP2T ATA, LINKSYS WRT320N Router and then...

Re: Calls straight to VM today ...

I had the same issue, incoming calls going straight to voice mail.
As posted I am running G729a and I had "Use Pref Codec Only" set to "Yes". I changed it to "No" and the calls started ringing through! So the line is working again!

Linksys PAP2

How can I set my ATA to display Private Number when calling people. I want my # hidden.
I want it to be a static configuration not a *67 before every call I make. Also to work on cell phone Networks two.

Thanks
Ed

Re: Wiring your phonelines in your house through ATA.

Thanks for your feedback, I did manage to get it working. I happened to loop the second block of room lines back to the original Bell block when the second block should only be directly connected to the ATA . My OOP's! Still had the Bell service concept in mind.

Thanks again!
