Re: Incoming/Outgoing Fix - As Posted By "tony_qc"
I tried the suggestions from the post link above with limited success. Every time I go in change Ring Frequency and Voltage it seems to work for a time. But after a little while phone calls will no longer register. People who call me from a land line claim to get a busy signal or straight to voice ...

Re: Incoming calls do not work
My sip device is spa2102, I began to use it this week. Outbound calls are good. but cannot reveive any inbound calls. Only in the situation that after I hang up a outbound call, and call incound immediately, the phone can ring and inbound call works. Also, when I pick up the phone, it is not a cont...

Re: Voicemail Access
I don't normally use the softphone but I tested it and it works fine for me. Both using the numbers on the keyboard and by clicking on the numbers on the softphone. I tried it several times and it worked each time.

Re: need to know info relating to activation n etc
ok so there is no way i can get config details on my current acc? if i dont pay Your details stay pretty much the same apart from the password. The main difference is the 'unlock' your account so you can use other equipment other than the softphone. They have to make money somehow, and a $50 admin ...

Re: Free VOIP, UK Numbers & calls
Just as another thought. You might be able to set your family in the UK up with a FPL account and ATA. That way they would get free calls to Canada, and when you call them you will be calling a Canadian number also. That would make it free both ways.
Does FPL allow this?

Re: Free VOIP, UK Numbers & calls
I have looked for this a lot, but the best I could come up with is a free UK number close to my family so they only call a local number, and a free then cheap rate to call the UK (I won't put the name of the campany I am using as it won't be fair to FPL). For the free number I use sipgate.co.uk. Eit...

Re: Forward to a sip url
No one have any ideas about using MJ with FPL? Any help at all would be more than I have right now. What is it you are hoping to set up? I read in a previous post you travel to different hotels, and I assume you are using your MJ line to call people on. Are you wanting to also make and get calls fr...

Yes it look slike it is down at the moment. ccording to their blog http://sipsorcery.wordpress.com/ they did an update a few days ago. Maybe this has something to do with it. Reading the comments it looks like other people have the same problem. Let's hope it is fixed soon. I also found this in a fo...

Re: linux pc client
Anyone who has SIP settings could essentially use a third-party linux SIP application. I'm sure there has to be some out there? I'm not a linux guy though, so I don't know off-hand I use Twinkle on my Ubuntu box. It works OK and seemed to be the most stable for what I needed. It's not the best to l...

Re: Words in numbers
Haha, that's quite awesome Jake! Makes me wish I'd live in some of those cities just to get an amazing phone number I could advertise. Any plans to do our 519-804 area? ;) Although it would be limited to 4-letter words since 0 has no letters associated As you mentioned, the 0 does not have any lett...

Words in numbers
First of all, I hope me posting this is OK. If not, please remove it. Secondly I will admit, I probably have too much time on my hands. Since I started to learn about VOIP and with the help of FPL get a new number to ditch my Bell line, I got interested in what words you could make with the numbers ...

Re: Forward to a sip url
As far as I know, MJ only gives out US numbers, so I don't think you will be able to forward to them. Admin posted a graphic of being able to forward calls to a SIP address instead of a number. This would be fantastic if it got implemented. I think he said about a week to get it on the website, but ...

Re: Javascript Error on FPL followme admin page
Yes, this is what I meant. Though I am testing the softphone on Linux it is not functional, if you could uninstall and re-install Java and make sure you re-install it with Version 10 it should work fine. Restart your computer after each uninstallation and reinstall. I did this, although I could not...

I just tried it on my Linux machine and it worked, try uninstalling Jave RE and install v10 it should work fine after rebooting. Javascript Error on FPL followme admin page
When I try to change the followme settings in my admin area I get a javascript error
Thanks, Jake.
Is this because you are putting in for us to be able to forward calls to a sip address??
Thanks, Jake.

Re: PAP2T seems to "drop out"
I thought I had something when I noticed my firmware was not up to date. I installed the latest version but it is still doing it. If I put the re-register time at 60 everything is OK. Anyway, for now I am passing it through a 3cx pbx that I have installed and that all seems to be working well so fa...

Re: PAP2T seems to "drop out"
Another thing I have just tried is down powering the PAP2T altogether and calling. I have left it down powered for about an hour now, but when I call my number I still get the busy / unattainable tone. Shouldn't that have gone to my voicemail if there was no ATA or softphone logged into my account? ...

PAP2T seems to "drop out"
First of all because I am new here, hello! OK, now the problem I seem to be getting. I have paid for the config file, and set everything up fine but what I am finding is the PAP2T seems to drop out of sync with freephoneline. What I mean by this is when I first set the box up I could ring in and eve...
