Re: Cannot make outbound calls to Wind Mobile numbers
Looks like it is in there: "1226600 CANADA Kitchener-Waterloo ON". Has this always been the case or did it only recently start? I'm showing SIP/2.0 486 Busy Here on all my test calls as well as yours for the past 3 days. The calls also fail from my Bell Mobility cell phone, so it's looking...

Re: Cannot make outbound calls to Wind Mobile numbers
Sol, are these numbers long distance? Are you dialing with or without a 1.
Would you be able to provide the first six digits (eg. 519-489) so that I may check our system for them? Also, could you please PM me your own FPL number?

Unfortunately, permissions were defined for each of the Global Moderator, Administrator and Registered Users groups (as well as Guests). You're correct in assuming that fpl-name are staff. Though the support function of this forum is aimed to be driven by the community, all moderation is done by pai...

Re: Change Sticky Colour in Forums
You're talking about the actual thread background and not the sticky icon color, I see. That'll be fairly low on the list of things to-do around the forum. Currently, anything aesthetic is within reason WYSIWYG. I'll still ask that it be added to the previously mentioned to-do list though.

Re: No Sound, Incoming call busy signal
Tracker, for the most part these forums are community-driven, meaning any staff on here who are answering questions do it on top of what they'd usually be doing. We use this forum both for support and advise, but also to educate our users so that they might be better suited to help themselves in the...

Bridonca, I understand what you're going for here and if this wasn't a forum geared for support (no examples, please; I am aware that there are support forums which exist that have this policy), I would agree with you. As we grow, we're bringing more staff online to help with the forum which does in...

You might want to turn your STUN server option off if you've got it. This error usually means the STUN server is unreachable.

Re: HELP ME GET MY PHONE LINE WORKING
Nelson, I appreciate your enthusiasm however I advise you not to post your phone number in a thread as it encourages annoying phone calls at 3:00am. Please be aware that not everyone here is a staff member of freephoneline.ca, so be careful what you post or who you invite to call you (not to say all...

g4ehonda, since you're using third-party hardware I cannot assist you with your actual device, however if you would please PM me your number I can look into your SIP logs to see if anything jumps out at me. zombie999, what device are you using to make these calls where the outgoing caller ID is fail...

It was indeed the wrong section - No worries, I have moved this to appropriate one.
As for your question, I'll let the community answer this as I typically avoid both VoIP over 3G and the iPhone.

Carriers usually have 24 hours to remove the number completely from their switch when you port out, and most certainly should be done once the account is canceled. We have had instances where a carrier who shall not be named had neglected to remove the ported TN from their switch for 23 days, result...

Re: VoIP Unlock Key Purchase Error
Not to draw from the point Steve made, as it is true, I'd like to clarify any questions on purchasing having dealt extensively with our billing system in order to hopefully reduce the calls into our contact center. When a transaction is processed, the invoice is generated at the same time the paymen...

Even the intonation that it could cause legal ramifications to either parties (us or our customers) we'll stick with Bridonca's 10ft rule. I suggest that The Oracle can give you the answers you require. Canadian law does require that at least one party in the conversation be aware of the recording. ...

May I ask what device you have? I am going to assume it is our Grandstream HT-286 - That dial string above is for Sipura devices only (Linksys PAP2T, SPA 2/3XXX).

While dialing toll-free numbers please ensure to exclude that initial '1' before the 8xx as our system dials it for you.
For the voicemail, if they indicated it should be fixed shortly I can only assume they've found the problem and are working to resolve it.

Buried is correct. Unfortunately though you can get a list of the ILEC's in Canada, it only shows per rate center what CLECs are in there, and no way to actually click on Fibernetics and see where we have our presence.

This might be a codec negotiation issue, try setting your codec to a combination of G729a and G711u, with the "Use Preferred Codec Only:" set to yes, and no, if it isn't already. Our PAP2T configuration guide located here have the ideal settings proven to work with all providers.

Re: Can't log in the web page with Linksys spa2102
Generally we do not offer third-party support. But it'd be rude to ignore this one. With a phone plugged in, press **** then 110# and you will hear a voice read out the IP address of the ATA, you can then enter that into a web browser just as you have been doing and configure your ATA when you have ...
