What number did you use to call? (What was the area code)

It usually takes no more than 15 minutes, they their are exceptions to every rule...

It's a USA area code, and a working number.

I didn't read anything on your signup about restricting any specific phone numbers from signing up.

Freephoneline.ca is a Canadian site/company... You can use it in the US but quality will be fairly... crappy. You will have to mess around with a bunch of Codec settings, RTP Packet sizes etc...

FPL will not call a US number... It NEEDS to be a Canadian number for activation. Beyond that it is up to you to decide how you want to use it. We have an employee here who's brother is using it in China with a local number from Kitchener to call his family.

It can be done, but how is another question.

Ok, to solve this problem I must change the activation number.

How do I change the activation number that I entered for my account?

Unfortunately until you activate it, you cant changed anything. You will have to create a new account with an alternate Canadian number.

Just a recommendation,
there should be some sort of error checking on phone number during the registration process to prevent this from happening rather then just going ahead with the registration like nothing is wrong , leaving the customer hanging there.
