Setup FPL on Fring?

Post by unleashedlive »

Has anyone successfully setup FLP on Fring? I guess I would have to pay $50 for the details to do this?

I have not setup FPL on Fring, but yes, you would have to pay $50 to get the SIP configuation.

I tried my SIP here and there (asterix, PAP2-NA, iPhone apps) since I got it.

I did try FPL with SIP in Fring on my iPhone and it partly worked but it's useless to me if i can't use DTMF tones after call is connected (i.e. extension numbers)... To get the keypad after the call was connected, I had to push the back button and i couldn't get the hang up button after that... Very annoying!

I tried ISip (formerly Sipphone) wich is accessible through AppStore but I had no voice altough the connection seemed to work.

I tried my SIP config on the asterix PBX of a friend and it worked fine. Asterix has a lot of options and you can make extensions to share your line but it a little complicated to setup.

I use Siphon (download through Cydia for jailbreak iPhones only) and it works great.
Note that this app have an option to run it on the 3G network or on the wifi.
I have acces to my voicemail and i can use extension numbers.

I mostly use my SIP on a Linksys PAP2-NA router and it works well.
