On your router (assuming you have one) OR Bell 2Wire Modem

Open UDP Ports 13000 & 13001

Open UDP Ports 5060 - 6061

You will also need to make the same port exceptions in any firewalls you may be running (Windows firewall included)

Ok forgive me for my ignorance but I have no clue how to do that.. I do have a router hook to my rogers modem. my firewall is open to the application. so if you can give me a basic guide line how to do that it would be appreciated.. thanks

That's perfectly okay. Do you know the manufacturer of the router? (ie. Linksys/Cisco, DLink, GrandStream...) You could call their support number and they can most likely guide you through the process of doing it yourself. I think even Linksys/Cisco and Dlink can remotely access your router from their office and set everything up for you :)

Seeing as it's a Bell 2Wire they are fairly... Annoying, at least for me, to get set up.

Make sure you tell the guy:

"I need to forward some UDP ports in my router"

Then keep in mind the "Protocol" is UDP

Open Ports 13000 & 13001
Open Ports 5060 - 6061

Did we resolve this on the phone, or was that a different mike? Just want to make sure I'm not forgetting anyone
