what happens to my original FPL number

Post by ppmt »

Hi,
I recently ported my number to FPL and all is good but I am actually worndering what happened to the original FPL number
I had when i registered?

Does it still "belong" to me? I am asking because for some reason I received an email with an empty voicemail that was destined to
that number?

Not sure about that voicemail, but when you port your number it replaces your number that was originally generated by FPL. Right now I am thinking up a few new enhancements for FPL pricing and feature wise, one being number recovery. Once you port your number your original FPL number gets dumped into a backup DB to be recovered for the full price of a config file if you still want your ported number or for a lower price if you port out but still want to use our service.

Keep in mind this is just what I would like to see happen, as well as the ability to change area codes and numbers for either a price or on demand. -- These are just idea, I don't have an ETA on them

ok so normally I should not be able to acces that account anymore ?

then as I you say I am puzzled by the email I received the another with an empty voicemail

May be it has something to do with the problem you had with your login system recently

Anyway it doesn't really matter. I just wanted to be sure about its status.

The account (With your email & password) is still active just with a different number (your ported one).

Not sure about the voicemail still...
