question for G729 user

hi, i keep reading forum and G729 codec come back often, does it is really better than GSM does the line cut a lot less or it is only minor ?

should i try bria + G729 or there is something cheaper $$ with G729, i now use sipdroid and go thru pbxes for ip (not UDP) . it is not bad but when driving it cut a lot .

i try dell voice and it was worse....ver 1.2.7.

any sugestion ?

csipsimple is free and support g729

ok but do you use it ? did you see a difference between other ??

i install csipsimple but did not find how to activate G729 , i can see it but it is not active it have a circle with a bar on it.

I do use Csipsimple.
Just tap and hold to activate
