If the ATA/Fax machine are configured properly then it should work just fine.
That being said, it's not an "official" feature of ours so we do not advertise it OR provide support for it if you're having any problems.

As far as setting things up "properly", here is my plan.

For the fax I will:
- set my transfer rate down to 9600baud
- turn off error correction

For the ATA:
- preferred codec: g711a
- use only preferred codec: yes
- Enable t.38 pass thru
- network jitter buffer: very high
- jitter buffer displacement: disable
- call waiting: no
- Echo canceller: no
- silence suppression: no

Does this make sense to anyone that has gotten fax to work with Freephoneline?
Are these "proper" settings?
Do I need to contact freephoneline support to use the g711a codec?

I will post a summary of my settings and results when I get this working properly for anyone else interested in the future.

Faxing works fine if you are not sending too many pages. If you are, you may get an error.
Using default settings on PAP2 v1 & fax machine.
Don't think FPL supports T.38, just use G711 and you'll be fine.
Also don't use your internet for anything else while faxing.
