Can't connect to login server

Post by khisanth »

We cannot receive or make phone calls since at least 17h00 today, anyone else has the same problem?

Worked fine for the last few months...

The cisco pap2t status says "Can't connect to login serve"

We had no downtime or maintenance last night. Let's see if this happens again as it could be something network or ISP related.

When you had the "CANNOT LOGIN TO SERVER" did you try rebooting your ATA and/or router, or not?

You should also set the keepalive time to a lower setting to make sure that it re-freshes it's connection more frequently if you have not already done so.

My registration has failed at various points this morning (2:15, 3:25, 4:20, 4:45-5:00), and now has been down since 5:55 and is still down. I'm not getting a response to my SIP REGISTER packets.
I'm sure it'll be sorted out sooner or later.

Just checking in from Brampton to confirm that NOT ONE of my FPL/DV lines has dial tone, two of which have their own PAP2T. :(

Woke up this morning and do not have a dial tone and adaptop is blinking red.
Both lines are not working so seems to have a major outage.

As a temprory measure, you can put a call forward in account settings and forward the phone to your cell phone till the issue is fixed. That way you will not miss a phone call.

Giving my PC softphone app a try from Vancouver, BC and the verdict is .... "NO CONNECTION TO THE SERVER" -- 04:46 local time.

No router, no ata, straight out to my isp.

So there is a definite problem with the regi server.

Edit: same problem on FPL and DV accounts, tried my secondary one also.

This thread is turning into a few different issues now. Last night between 02:00 and 05:00 AM EST there was some maintenance to perform some extensive core network upgrades - unfortunately teams ran into a couple snags which did result in the SIP authentications bouncing online and offline a bit during this time.

Hi Steve, You may want to post some claficication as this doesn't seem resolved like your message implies, I think you will be getting many calls into the support line as the morning goes on.

I did not want to create a new thread for 06/13 issues since there are reports here. Same issue to report, registration failed, noticed this since approx 6:15AM EDT.

Also, FPL/fongo has been really great in the past proactively notifying us of maintenance, somehow a notice was missed this time or did I not see it?

Edit: It's back on as of sometime after 9 AM.

No connection here in Burlington from PC or ATA device.

A system status page would be a very good idea to let us know when planned or ahem... "planned" outages are happening.

This is not SIP authentication "bouncing online and offline". It is simply offline entirely. Also, as mentioned above, your response does imply that this issue has been resolved since 5 am this morning. However, it is now after 9 am and these issues persist.

Mine is back on as of 9:20 am.
