Well I have a long story but will make it short. My X just moved out and she took my ATA device with her . Is there any way I could get the password changed on my sip config file so I can program my number back into my new ata device so i can gain back complete control of my phone number? Right now I have to look at my call logs to see who has called so i can call them back. Any help would be great.
By the way, your free service is the best free service I have ever had. EVER. You guys are awesome, I hope your around forever.

Okay, your password is now change, and the appropriate settings are updated in your account.

WOW, your guys are amazing. I cant believe how fast you guys are at fixing problems.
The thing I find hard to believe is that your service is free and you still work hard at fixing my little problems. I tell everyone about your free phone service and a lot of them think its a big scam, how can someone offer you free phone service when they pay $40 plus per month with bell or others. Your phone service works awesome and all the little problems of a few months ago seem like they are also fixed. Great service, awesome tec support, best part its all free.
Keep up the good work guys.

It unfortunately comes down to the way our many systems are linked together. It would be incredibly difficult to code a system that would dynamically update the password in the SIP server and keep it updated in the UI, account profile and our back-end management system. Our programming priorities currently fall into a few big projects we're working on, but it could certainly be brought up in the future when we have more hours on hand.ogammo wrote:regarding this matter

Re: Any way to change password on my config file?
It all comes down to the little things people don't understand about the telecom industry and the fact our parent company is a CLEC. We make termination fees on incoming calls to our network and we pay termination fees for outgoing calls. That's why we won't do things like disable voicemail, because that would mean a lost call on our network and lost funds. Multiply that by a lot of people, and it adds up. Termination fees along with the earnings from ATA/Config sale give us the money we need to operate and continue providing the best support we can!kenporter wrote:WOW, your guys are amazing.
