I just got an unlocked SPA2102-NA for use with my freephoneline config file.
I set it up according to the information provided in these forums. Seems to work fine except I can't get caller ID blocking working (i.e. *67, *81).
When I dial either *67 or *81 I immediately hear the message "this call is not covered by your tariff plan".
Is caller ID blocking supported? Is is possible to get it working with the SPA2102 and FPL?
From these forums it seems like some people have had it working while others are having the same problem.
When I change the "Block CID Serv:" setting to "yes", I don't hear the message and the call goes through but the caller id is not blocked.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: SPA2102 and caller ID blocking
Does anyone have Caller ID blocking working on their FPL?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: SPA2102 and caller ID blocking
As of this past week, my outgoing caller ID is working correctly, but caller ID blocking has stopped working - although I have never had to use it before because my outgoing caller ID was always wrong anyways. As far as I can tell, it is a problem at FPL's end and has nothing to do with your setup.

Re: SPA2102 and caller ID blocking
FPL disallowed users from messing with caller ID a few weeks ago. I'm not sure if this would include caller ID blocking, but sending out "false" caller IDs is definitely not allowed anymore. This irked me a little because I was forwarding my calls to my cell phone through my asterisk setup and before, I'd get the phone number of the person calling me, now I just get the number of my asterisk box on my cell phone caller ID.

Re: SPA2102 and caller ID blocking
This would be because of Asterisk. When you forward calls to another number it shows the original CID (Calling number, not your FPL number).
As for Caller ID block, it is still allowed (In fact I'm using it right now to test our call-processing) but I'll double check that everything is functioning correctly on the back-end.
