Hi, when you have Fongo home phone using a ATA, you will pay $4.95/monthly fee. If you use the App on the smartphone, do you need pay the monthly fee? Thanks.

then can a peason use the unlock key to config a ATA and avoid $4.95/m fee? I see people on forum talking buying ATA (like PAP2T-NA) and configure it for home phone. I am confusuing at Fongo/FreePhoneLine's offers and policy.

The Homephone client gets a managed ATA and better support, also the home-phone client does not view ads in software and generate additional revenue for the company that way.
