I can't hear but the other party can hear me

Postby Jeremy » 10/06/2013

I'm with Bell, router SAGEMCOM Fast 2864, ATA = Linksys PAP2T/NA, McAfee = anti-virus. HELP! The system worked for a short time, then stopped working a few weeks ago. I can't hear but the other party can hear me. Thank you for your help.

Look in your ATA and find the RTP ports. My PAP2T uses ports from 16384 to 16482 which I believe is standard.

Now set up a static IP for the ATA in your router and make sure those ports get forwarded to the ATA (UDP only).

For a TEST ONLY, you can try and put your ATA in the DMZ on your router. Do Not leave it like this though as other people may be able to hack your router and just cause you more headaches.
