IOS app with password

enhancement suggestion...
is there a way to have a password to enter when opening the app itself, without having to type our full login name and password of the Fongo service. In other words, the app would always be logged in to Fongo and receiving push notifications, but to open the app and get to the text messages, for example, you'd have to type a short numerical password, ex: 1234. After some number of wrong replies, the App would then disconnect from the Fongo network.
