Dell Voice SIP app for BlackBerry

Postby msf » 02/07/2012

The new Dell Voice SIP app looks like a great offering and I look forward to trying it out as soon as the BlackBerry version is available.

According to your website, the BlackBerry version is coming "soon". Can we get an indication of the likely timing? Is it days? ...weeks? ...months?

Don't hold your breath. Unsupported Hardware Features
The following hardware features are not currently supported. Apps that use these features are typically incompatible. If your app uses any of these features but you feel that it should still be functional on a BlackBerry PlayBook, you should make sure to fully test the app to ensure their use does not impact the usability or core functionality of your app before submitting it to App World.

bylo, the app being released for the blackberry, will be a blackberry app and not an adroid app to be used with the new OS released by RIM for the blackberry

If you release a functioning SIP client, it would be a new record for the BB world. I paid $20+ each for BB SIP clients and neither of them works well.It breaks up the voice no matter what model of BB and what type of connection I use.
