Hi,
I just find the Number of Rings in follow me is not correct. I set the Number of Rings is 3, but I have to wait more than 10 rings to forward my call.
Best regards
Sherman

Re: Number of Rings in follow me
Just a note to everyone to remember that the number of rings is a "TIMED" thing, and it takes place on the FONGO side of things, when the FONGO-side detects a change from DEAD AIR to RINGING (which, on old POTS lines is an actual change of voltage on the physical copper line). As FONGO is digital (VOIP), there is another method that is used to detect RINGING, rather than the old school change in impendence ....
That all being said, sometimes it is not detected correctly, and your mileage may vary on actual number of rings, or if the carrier that provides the number of the forward uses a "weird" ring tone. Mobile #s are also different, as anyone that has one can attest if they have ever called themselves, I can CALL my cell from my FONGO #, hear 12 rings on the FONGO side and only have my cell chirp 4 times ... the actual MOBILE network seems to swallow some rings somewhere ...
So, it is not a COMPLETE SOLID science, but it should work MORE or LESS as advertised, unless there is something broken under the hood.
