my FPL numbers are not working again, please help

Post by vostro »

hi there, my freephoneline is not working again this morning, i can dial out but all incoming call is automatically forwarded into freephoneline voice box without ring. i use HT502 with suggested configuration from your site, i tried to swtich prime server from voip.freephoneline.ca to voip2.freephonelne.ca without any luck, just same: only can dial out, no incoming calls.i have four freephoneline numbers, three are put in two HT502, the other one is used in obi200, usually even if HT502 is not working, obi200 will be still working, but this morning, all these four lines are not working. i didn't change any configuration in my router (sonicwall tz210w). thank you very much for the help. i tried to send PM to support but can't send out, it always stays in outbox. i don't know the reason.

Guess you have check DND (Do Not Disturb) setting in the ATA.

*78 Enable Do Not Disturb (DND): When enabled all incoming calls are rejected.

*79 Disable Do Not Disturb(DND): When disabled, incoming calls are accepted.

Thats a normal response, but your ATA will accept the command. I gather that once you invoked the command your still not getting any inbound calls and your settings on the FPL account page for Voicemail is set accordingly.

as i didn't change any settings, i guess these are irrelevant. now three lines come back to work, one line is still not working and showing "disconnected" in SIP status from freephoneline.ca settings web page.

it looks line is not stable, all lines stopped working again, i have to disconnect modems for a while and try to reconnect later, assuming that server blocked my IP for modem's automatically reconnect attempts.
