Hi there,
I originally signed up for Freephoneline in May 2010, now its called Fongo.
I configured my voicemail to send all voicemail messages to my email address, that is currently the only way I can check my voicemail messages.
Whenever I call the remote access number to check my voicemail messages from my phone, it says "you have no new messages" which is obviously not true.
Why can't the remote access number detect I have new messages?
Sometimes when I am away from a computer, I would like to check any urgent voicemails!
Thanks.

You say you send all voicemails to your email. Do you have that setting as COPY or FORWARD?
Copy will leave a copy in your voicemail box, forward will send a recording to your email and delete the copy that is in your voicemail box. The forward option will happen instantly, it won't occur only when you check your emails. If you have it set to forward then this will be why there is never any messages in your voicemail.
