I'd like to use the FPL desktop application with my Fongo account.
I don't want to open an FPL account.

FPL supports calls to 911 and you need to create an account in order to provide your personal info to the emergency services before downloading the desktop application. An email address is required and it must be different from Fongo email account.

Your Fongo account will not allow you to log into FPL. They are run on separate systems so you have to think of them as different companies.
If you want to use the desktop app, you don't have any other choice but to open an FPL account. Sorry, it's probably not what you wanted to hear.
