SMS NOT WORKING

you guys took my money for text messages but wont provide the service.

i go to my messaging tab and send a message to a friend of mine and nothing gets sent. i cant even receive any messages..

on the tab it shows a check as if the message has been sent.

what gives, this better not expire in 30 days....everyday i loose without the service i want to be credited for.

I'm having the same problem. I paid for a 30 day text service, it was working fine until today.
I showed I had 9 days left of texting. My incoming and outgoing text messages to non dellVoice numbers don't work.
However texts from dellVoice to dellVoice numbers work fine.
Please help!!!!!

It must be a global spanner in the works as none of the 3 SMS paid accounts we have here can send or receive messages to external (non DV) numbers right now.

Someone needs to get the mice spinning the wheels faster to keep up.

Same problem here. Bought the pkg 2 days ago, never worked...
Calling 611 for support result in "nobody's available, try again later..."

We are seeing a few numbers with issues (this is not a system wide issue) and are fixing them as we see them (internal systems usually notify us of the issue, but still good to give us a heads up)

I would send Mike a PM with your number and a link to this thread. It could be your account is one of those that didn't come back with the rest.

Think of it as a bottle neck. There is so much room to allow travel (both in and out) in certain cases though, the cap is lodged on so tight that it is hard to remove the lid.

We need to find big enough a bottle opener to get it open and let everything out. (this is on an account by account basis)

Have those accounts that were affected and had more than 24 hours of outtage had their feature expiry dates increased (ie been creditted for lack of service) or?

just a day or two won't hurt but I think DV need to step up and fix this problem. I have seen this topic about SMS again and again not very good for the consumers.

It was more than a day or two, and unfortunately it is only the latest in the long string of "things not going as advertised" for Fongo. Consumer confidence is waning, to say the least. I know that myself I am growing more and more disgruntled, but that is not for "service" issues per se, mine are more software and procedure related gripes.
