Number porting not working

Received email confirming that the number porting is complete.

When calling I get "this account is not valid"
When receiving calls the call goes to voice mail and phone does not ring.

unplugged phone and plugged back after a few minutes. it did not help.

Can somebody please help. I need the phone service.
