I have been trying to sign up with Fongo. I wish to keep my current home phone number, but everytime I go through the steps to register, your system wants to assign me a new number. Then I tried logging in, selecting "online store", then "Transfer My Number"...but I get an alert saying I'm not registered, when in fact I am. This whole process is frustrating me. Could you please clarify?

You need Fongo to assign you a new phone number. One you have that phone number, you can then work on porting your old number to Fongo.
