Clicking noise on long distance calls

Hi. I have searched the net to see if anybody had this issue.

I have the SPA112 with firmware version 1.3.3. Whenever I make long-distance calls to Europe or North Africa, I have this constant clicking noise. This lasts the whole call and it is at the same interval (every 3-4 seconds). Any idea what could cause this? Thank you.
