Hi,
Is there a way to set up some security on this Grandstream adapter in order to prevent someone from hacking it?
I know the default password to get into the settings, but can I/should I change that password?
Also, when I get into the adapter's settings from my browser, can I simply change my name and update it if I don't want my name to come up on call display?
So far everything is working well, and I don't want to change any passwords or anything until I know it won't affect my ability to use my phone. Thanks.

Does anyone know if it's okay to change the password?

Re: Grandstream HT701 ATA Question
If you are behind a router, getting your ATA hacked by an outside hacker is not very likely to happen.
It has been a long time since I have used a Grandstream product, but I do believe it was not that difficult to set up a new login and password
