Unable to make or receive calls from Grandstream 801

My device worked fine for a year or so and then suddenly stopped behaving since past week.
It kept on picking up default ip address 192.168.1.105 although my router is set to provide 192.168.2xx
I spent several hours trying to fix it including several hard resets.
Finally I left it without power all day and managed to get it to pick correct ip address in range 192.168.2.xx
I can login to the device fine.
However, I am unable to make or receive calls. All outgoing calls receive a fast beep. All incoming calls receive a message that the party you called is busy. I do receive the voice mail via email.
The fongo support is worse than useless.
Has anyone got any suggestions on what to do to resolve this issue? What settings or test to look for when logged into the device?

I am not familiar with this router, but I am comfortable in saying it is the source of your problems. Your options are to forward ports to the ATA, if you can do that. If you cannot do that, you can put the modem/router in gateway mode, and use a better router.

was able to resolve the issue with help pf fongo support. The firmware of the GTA needed to be upgraded and possibly had lost creds due to multiple resets.
Thanks for replying
