Dialing a seven digits local number

Post by lustucru »

I reported a billing issue on 11/27/2012.

When calling Bell Internet 7 digits local number in Montreal (310-SURF), I was billed for a call to California (the DTMF following numbers were interpreted as being part of the dialed number).

I called this number again today by dialing 10 digits (514-310-SURF) and a Bell recorded message asks to hang up and redial only the 7 digits.

I'm aware that the dialing standard is to include the area code but there is an exception for Bell and I'm able to call this 7 digits number from my cell without being charged for a long distance .

You can't dial 310 numbers on Fongo or FPL http://support.fongo.com/entries/228674 ... -be-called

Try 1800-773-2121
