Autorenew and Long Distance Credit Purchase Not Working

I recently discovered that the autorenew for long distance credits does not work (at least, not for me) and also encountered a problem in that after purchasing 2 x $5 credits ($5 being the only online option) an error message appeared indicating that too many attempts had been made (and the information inputted was 100% accurate). Anyone have any idea what the problem is or, more importantly, what a solution is?
