Block PRIVATE Unknown # - HT286/7 Grandstream ATA
Hi Support,
I have the ATA you provided me when I joined. In the last week I have had over 30+ calls from PRIVATE Unknown Number. This is incoming at all hours of the day and night. For example we received a call at 3 am this morning. I also just received 2 back to back in the last hour.
What do I need to do to complete disable ALL private callers OR block this as it is becoming increasing frustrating.
I hope you can assist.

Re: Block PRIVATE Unknown # - HT286/7 Grandstream ATA
Hi Guys,
This is ridiculous. I unplug it for days at a time and as soon as I plug it back in, the unknown callers come back in repetition until I disconnect it again.
Is there really no answer for this?

Unplugging the unit will not solve the problem. ATA will need to be reconfigured as per below:

This will resolve the issue.
Thanks,

This could either someone calling your number, or it could be a SIP scanner that is calling your ATA directly. Look in your online logs and see if actual calls were made, direct SIP calls will not be logged in there.
Do you have port 5060 forwarded at the router by any chance?

Hi Support,
I have encountered the same problem. My ATA is OBIHAI OBi202. Could you please suggest how to solve this problem with my ATA?
Thanks
