Now Available: Long Distance Voucher Auto-Renew

Post by FONGO_steve »

We are glad to announce that this week we have rolled out auto-renew functionality on all of our long distance vouchers.

When purchasing a voucher on our online purchase page, or via our call center, you now have the option to have it auto renew when your balance reaches $1.00 or less. This is an optional feature of course and will only happen if you select this option when purchasing.

We hope this new feature will bring an extra convenience to your long distance calling with freephoneline and we thank you for your continued business!

We have tested this functionality quite heavily through our online purchase page and did not find any issues.

Are you sure you're logging into the purchase page?

There's a problem with voucher purchase. When I log in to my account, I click on purchase voucher, then when I enter all information needed (credit card infos, etc) I click on "Next Step" and a confirmation page appears. I click on "Complete Purchase" and it keeps me on the same page without any error messages or anything. I didn't get any credits, no confirmation email and I didn't get charged on my credit card.

Same as reported by wasolk (above comments) There is a problem with confirmation for credit card purchase. Please correct the problem. Thank you. It might be wise to have employees try to complete purchase from home (outside your network) and see what we are talking about. The problem might be with other ISP's.

today I called customer services for that issue, and they conform that issue with website now a day for online purchase. so I recharge on Phone.

Can you not give option to purchase through PayPal? as all time when I trying to purchase online with credit card I have Issue.
Even I can not purchase for my other Freephone line account as my other FPL account have differnt address (Not same address as on my Credit card).

How long do I have to wait to make calls after purchasing credit? There is credit balance on my account; however, I cannot call international areas.
Thanks.

Correct dialing string

If the credits show on your account, there should be no reason why you would be unable to make international calls, as long as your credit balance is high enough to cover the initial call (ie: if it is 10c/min, and you have less than 10c, then it may not work).

Make sure that you are formatting your international call correctly -- ie 011+etc

Hopefully this will resolve your issue.

If it persists, or the call is formatted correctly, just give customer service a quick call to hopefully straighten it out.

There is enough balance in my account because I just purchased credit last night, and my dialing format is correct; however, once I dial 011, I hear error message right away.

Could it be the dial plan on your ATA that is stopping you from dialling out? It sounds strange that you are getting the message after just calling 011. Which message are you hearing? I don't think you mentioned it.
