Well, the happiness is short-lived.

Registration keeps dropping. Everytime you want to make a call - you need to reboot the ATA. What a screwed up system!

Like the previous post. Sent screen captures of my setup and NO REPLY from anyone. Not even an acknowledgement of receipt.

Don't you love Canadian enterprise - They just want your money and offer nothing in return. Sounds like the Harper government.

Sorry I digress.

THE PROBLEM REMAINS UNCHECKED and NEEDS FIXING ASAP. Reliablilty is required FOR SAFETY SAKE (911).

WHAT SAY YOU - GENIUSES?

Came home to my ATA flashing on the PHONE led light. Thought the worst. Had a voicemail that worked and called the house via my cell and the call came through. ATA is all green lights now. Knock on wood. This is my first month into service I'll wait until the end of February and if the phone works I'll keep it if there's still problems I'll jump ship. You right Manual Scan safety is an issue. Kids can reach all handsets but our cells are high up out of reach or in our pockets.

Can't receive incoming calls - again! Outgoing calls are OK.

There is a major problem with this service.

Fongo Support on these boards contacted me about my issues. Hopefully he/she will get to the bottom of it.

For all you guys can not receive inbound calls please try this solution (I got it from other site and it works for me):

--- Change your "audio configuration preferred codec" from G729a to G711u.

By the way, my ATA is SPA 2102.

Good luck!

Not getting incoming calls again. Damn it. Thanks for the info but I want to hold off as Fongo Support is looking into it. Don't want to change something on my end just yet. I wont even call tech support until he/she is done looking into it. My ATA is HT701. HOPEFULLY Fongo Support keeps me updated.

Everything has been working fine here for a couple days. I have a few customers on freephoneline service and they are all fine. We all use Cisco SPA112 or Linksys SPA2112. December bug seem resolved.

So jealous of you all.

No Incoming, No outgoing, no dialtone! Just "Registration: failed" since like, Christmas eve. No PM answers for like a week. :(
