All incoming calls were sent to directly to VM

Postby 905benchguy » 11/29/2014

I was asked to 'fix' my daughter's FPL. She said no one could call her but she could call out. Long story short, somehow she had simply forwarded all incoming calls to VM and I assume she did so by hitting the wrong Vertical Service code by accident - perhaps instead of *98. I found this out by comparing her SPA112 settings to mine, page by page. I saw on the User 1 page that "18005555111" was in the call forward setting. Deleting it made her phone 'work' again. She denies having done so but I have no other way to explain it.

I have same problem. I delete the number in the call forward setting and the phone work again BUT these numbers keep coming back after just 1 or 2 incoming call.
Do someone know how to block these numbers or how to lock the the box linksys PAP2T-NA ?

Add an admin password, someone might be accessing it remotely. Also make sure you are not forwarding any ports you do not need to, and certainly make sure it is not in DMZ.

Thank you Jake for the suggestion,
However, it seems that I am not the one having this problem. Just to mention some topics with related problem.

It seems that the number on the forward section is generated itself.
Do you have others suggestions ?

Thank You
