French forum

I'm not sure exactly how many french speakers are using FPL, but I think there may be a few of them that have a hard time getting help in english. While I'm not asking in any way that FPL actually do provide french service themselves, I reckon there could be a French section added to this forum where french speakers could help each other out.

I'm a french speaker so I might be able to contribute in Moiière's language.

You have a very good point. I see on alot of forums where there is a section for French Talk across Canadian forums. I personally aint good in writting or speaking in french but I think having a section for the Langue Française would be a great help for futur buissness and other problems concering FPL Voip ;)

I like the idea!
Our french user base is growing very fast and this would certainly be beneficial to have. Let me get approval on adding this section and then find a bi-lingual staff member to moderate it.

I've got this on my to-do list now, so hopefully it will pop up in the next week or two :)

Isn't that true! A programmer of all people should know that the To Do list is only even half completed, because incomplete lists make us unhappy :D

All joking aside, yes, the To Do list is more of a To Do pamphlet as more and more feature additions and requests come up along with our ongoing projects for service improvement.

If you need someone to translate, I can help :) I am on my computer a lot and check my e-mail every 5~10 mins LOL I like helping people out so don't be shy asking for help.

The only problem I see with a French only section is that most help comes from Anglophones, and since the forum is so small, many French speaking members will feel left out. Also note that many French speaking Canadians can understand English, but have a hard time writing it or being understood.

Either way, I'd be happy to help our French speaking members :)

All though we do not yet have a French section on our forums, we do indeed however have agents that are happy to reply to you in French (like myself who are Quebecois) I do however apologize in advance if my written French is not the best.

Hi Laurent, I do agree with you that a forum en français would definitely be beneficial to users whose native language is French and who would prefer to get help in French. I am bilingual, my first language being English, but I would like to be able to help French speakers in French as well. Also, I would be interested in learning all of the FPL-related technical terminology in French so that I can better explain things and better help French speakers.

Take care all, and please feel free to contact me off list if you wish to do so... always looking forward to meeting other peopleand sharing experiences and so forth. My email address is siena.trigiani@gmail.com or you can email me via the link underneath my post.

Best regards,

Siena.
