I am excited that FPL now has prepaid long distance, but I have noticed (in my opinion) a few incorrect charges lately. A couple of the numbers i usually call for free are costing money to call now which is a little irritating but I'm sure you guys will deal with that, your good that way.
Is it possible to set it up the same way Bell does, when you call a number "not covered by your terrif plan" make it so you have to dial a 1 then the area code etc. and all other numbers that are free you dial without the 1.
thanks

Re: Long Distance
Can you drop me a PM with the numbers you were charged to call? If they're normally free then that would be incorrect and we will refund those calls accordingly.
We are exploring options of long distance prompts so you know when you'll be billed, but unfortunately it's a little easier said than done. Hopefully in the future we will have this obstacle overcome though.

Re: Long Distance
If a call is chargeable, then this is detected by your system. If I try to call the US for example it tells me "your account balance is insufficient to place your call to that destination" So to take it one step further once your system knows the call is chargeable, it checks the callers balance. If there is insufficient credit it plays the above message. If there is sufficient credit it could play this kind of message "Calls to this number will be charged at our current rate, if you wish to continue please press 1, otherwise hang up."
That way you will always know if the call you are making is costing you money.
Just a thought!

Re: Long Distance
This is certainly an option that is on our long-term road-map. To implement this type of option will require a bit of leg work behind the scenes, so we can't promise any ETA on it at this time.
