What happened to the date and time on the board?

Post by bridonca »

I have to say the new date system is more confusing, with less information. It is too easy to confuse the day and the month now, and there is now no time stamp, so I have no idea how old the message is.

It is back to the cryptic date setup with no time stamp again. Only after I post, does it show the less cryptic date and time. What is going on?

Just to show I am not totally loopy, here are some screen shots. Don't believe it is the browser.

My dates have always looked like your second screenshot, since day 1. So your first screenshot is what yours used to look like?
Can anyone else confirm if their dates look different?

when I do not post, I get the stripped date screen shot, after I post, I get the expanded date and time. It is still doing it as of this post.

Ahhhh! That's the difference. If you are not logged in, you see basic date. Once you are logged in you see the advanced date & time. At least that's what happened to me when I clicked Logout.
