Is this heading off to a bad start?

Post by lousk »

Today I decided to purchase the following:
• $5 Destktop (please note the misspelling) App - Long Distance Credit $5.00
• $5 Smartphone App - Long Distance Credit $5.00
• SIP Configuration $ 50
HST, ON: $7.80
Total: $67.80

I entered all the credit card payment information on line, despite disabling in the previous screen options of the "Auto-renew for Long Distance Purchase, and "Auto-renew Mobile App Purchase, this is the message I received continuously (Error: You must save credit card information for the auto-renew service), since I chose "not to keep on file" the Save for future option.

Please help: which part of this message I don't get?... I hope there is a great explanation for this error. If that's the only way to purchase anything from FPL, therefor they lost my business - gladly before it even started.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Call Customer Service and do it over the phone, easy peasy.

I had that I think. I just clicked the button to save my details, but not for auto renew.

They already have my details on hand for paying my DSL, so for me it didn't make any difference if the details were saved or not.

Feel free to send me a PM with your freephoneline number and I can take a look. We recently launched a whole new online store platform and it's possible there's a bug that may have been missed which you have uncovered by purchasing that combination of items.

On that note, you're welcome to call our sales/support team anytime to make the purchase of those items. We can handle the transaction over the phone and all the items will be setup and ready to use before the phone call is even over.
