Change Sticky Colour in Forums

Post by Ice »

This is somewhat of a moot point... but when looking through forums the sticky threads, it's hard to see the non-sticky ("Updated/New") threads. If the sticky threads were a different colour (say, faded yellow or a different shade of blue), then I could easily see the updated/new threads easier.

That's a good idea, I'll forward it to the Admin to see if he can do it. (I also like making him work :P)

Not easily. All the read / unread icons aren't just colors, but icons like sticky_unread.gif, etc...

if (status == sticky) {
       background_color = #blue;
} ?? :)

I was actually referring to the background colour, and if sticky can just be overridden to a different shade of blue or something which should be easier than changing the icons.

You're talking about the actual thread background and not the sticky icon color, I see. That'll be fairly low on the list of things to-do around the forum. Currently, anything aesthetic is within reason WYSIWYG. I'll still ask that it be added to the previously mentioned to-do list though.
