having 2 accounts

Post by killerjay »

hello, im currently a happy fpl user, i have the sip and ata from them. i was curious as to if i wanted another phone number, can i put it with the same account or do i have to have 2 seperate accounts? also, i was thinking of setting up my second line in portugal and leaving it there but i have a few questions.

i go there every couple years and was wondering if there was no activity on the line for a while, would my account be cancelled for innactivity? or does the phone have to be answered a certain time every month/months to keep the account alive?

You need to separate Sip account.

When you are in Canada then just call the canana in Portugal and leave voicemail.

I think since you buy their sip account that number will permanent will not remove for safe side just call it once awhile and leave a voice mail

You can bring your ATA device to Portugal so this way you just have one number

Is that a +1 on confirmation that config-purchased accounts are PERMANENT, or that they still need to show activity to remain active? Clarify please, Mike! :-)

Once the account has the SIP configuration, and has been certified for e911 purposes, the account will stay active even if it has not been used over X number of days.
