I went and bought an iPhone (mistake), now when I open my email from the iPhone it cannot read the .au audio format that the voicemail from a caller is recorded in. Is there a way to change it to .WAV or .MP3 through the web interface, customer service, or is the .au the only format for your system ?
Lesson learned... when buying a SmartPhone stick with RIM or Windows Mobile device. Anyway hopefully there's a way around this.
Thanks.

Unfortunately that is Apples mistake and while we can add an option it would be best to stick with RIM

Re: Changing File Type for voice mail
I found a work around and just signed up for it. Maybe other iPhone users would like to know about it ? Maybe FPL.ca can provide similar service or work around? I can't be the only iPhone user on here. That said, next smart phone I buy will not be made by Apple.

Would you beleive I haven't heard from them ? Nice service they advertise but I can't wait for them !
Any chance FreePhoneline.ca can send in .WAV or .MP3 format? Maybe in next hardware refresh ?
Thanks.
