Problem with the call waiting

Post by delcio »

Hi!
I actually have a problem with the call waiting.
For example i'm on the phone and someone calls me, on the other side, the phone doesn't ring but i hear on the phone the Beep Beep that announces me that someone is on the call waiting.
I don't know what is the problem.
Is it from FPL or my modem, i have a Speedtouch 780WL.

If you have any idea to how to correct the problem, please help me.

Thank you in advance

Ah yeah i forgot.
When the person stays on the call waiting before i answer, after 30 seconds the line hangs up instead of transferring to the voice mail.

Very weird situation

Hi,

I have the same issue and the same router on FPL,
How did you resolve this issue.
I need the call waiting line to go to VM if not answered.

SpeedTouch modems contain a SIP ALG. Have you tried using the Rogers proxy voip4.freephoneline.ca:6060 and configuring your ATA to use a port number between 20000 and 65535?
